Christopher Phillips is a composer from Liverpool UK.

After a career in film and television art departments, he graduated from a Masters in Professional Media Composition at Thinkspace/ Chichester University with a focus on taking film music in creative directions, recently working on Vaughn Stein's The Canyon.

When The Snow Falls earned numerous awards on the festival circuit.

(Pegasus Film Festival- best black and white film, White Rose Film Festival- best student film/ runner up grand finale, Global Visionaries Film Festival- best student/ best producer, Milan Indie Film Festival- audience choice best short/ best ensemble cast, Paradise Film Festival- best sound design (me), Clown International Film Festival- finalist, England International Film Festival, nomination best experimental film, Absurd Film Festival- official selection)

Also a drummer, Chris played with Antimatter, Minor Moguls and the Walter Becker produced China Crisis.

20 years ago on a hot Saturday I blasted out 8 drum tracks, in a Liverpool industrial estate studio, for a friend I’d met 20 years prior.
I’d practised it, written the charts out, and played for each song in measured fashion, with occasional maelstrom. Thanks Mick.

This thing belonged to a rather interesting person.
Examples:

-Their band won a ‘battle of the bands’ contest. One of the runners-up said “Don’t forget your friends on the way up”. Runner up was George Harrison.
-John Lennon stuck chewing gum on his bass
-Had a scrap with The Rolling Stones.
-Recorded bass for Dusty Springfield.
-Helped raise £1/4M for kids’ charities. 💜

This unit is infinitely creative; a whole score could be made with it. The Strymon NightSky warps reverb. What?! Had me at warps.

This movie was the first time principal photography had commenced on a Lucky Chap Entertainment production, and I was very proud to see my ridiculously talented friend Vaughn Stein make his directorial debut. I love this film and it has an absolutely mega cast.
